Striving to Support 500 Businesses by 2021

The Georgia MBDA Centers are excited to assist the Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) in the community with ending the year strong!
Our programming has evolved to help MBEs strive and advance in the present climate. In addition to the technical assistance, business consulting, and financial resources we provide, as a response to COVID-19, we launched a CARES Act Assistance Program, providing the solutions and education necessary to further the success of the MBE community during this time.
The Georgia MBDA Business Center CARES Act Assistance Program provides unique assistance and programming for CARES Act funding while leveraging the expertise of the business programs in the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute. This program educates MBEs on ways to manage the workforce for safety, health, and cybersecurity, ways to identify COVID-19 recovery and resilience funding, and provides MBEs access to strategy sessions.
Our goal is to support 500 businesses in rural and distressed areas by the Spring of 2021. We will ensure the companies in these areas have access to the resources necessary to sustain and thrive as a business.
We encourage you to share the link below with the businesses in your audience that could use technical assistance, funding, and education to further their success in this climate.
