Introducing the Southeast MBDA Business Growth Hub

The Georgia MBDA Business Center at Georgia Tech is pleased to announce the launch of the Southeast MBDA Business Growth Hub. The Hub is a team of community-based ecosystem builders who are constructing a regional network of spaces, education pathways, engagement programs, and mentorship, with access to corporations, financing, and government programs. This cohesive, blended network of city centers will support Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) via participation in programs to grow and scale their businesses.

This effort is designed to overcome the limited participation of minorities in local innovation ecosystems while giving them access to a broader regional network of connections and experiences. The network includes large cities throughout eight southeastern states, from Mississippi, to Florida, to Kentucky.

As part of the Hub, the newly developed MBDA@ATDC Program will support Georgia’s technology-driven MBEs with connections to coaching, classes, community, capital and customers. We welcome BIPOC, AAPI, and Latinx-led tech companies to leverage the resources offered by the ATDC and the Georgia MBDA Business Center. ATDC helps Georgia startups at various stages navigate the choppy waters of taking an idea from concept to product prototype, to launch, and ultimately to scale. Resources for early-stage startups include classes on Customer Discovery, Financial Literacy for Tech Entrepreneurs, and Investor Readiness for Technology Startups. For startups that are farther along in their journey, we offer coaching on scaling up, strategic partnerships, and investor roadshows.

Who is this for? We are looking to connect with companies that are interested in building a technology product, have built a technology product or a tech-enabled business, and want to learn more about the high-tech space, while leveraging the business savvy and community of the MBDA centers’ national network.
